RobinsonArchive.com was launched today as our largest completed project to date. Robinson Archive is a responsive, 10,000 product e-commerce website selling prints of celebrity photographs from the 50’s, 60’s & 70’s. The Archive previously had a website that did not work on mobile devices, had poor product categorization, and product pages that did not match the design of the rest of the website. They favored the design of the Home page, so we designed the new website to closely match the original design and added some additional features. The new website now has encrypted content so you cannot download (read: steal) the photos from the website, an interactive cart system with user accounts and PayPal integration, and a tiered category structure that allows the user to customize their search. Additionally, we added a number of photo galleries, press publications and reviews of the Archive and Jack Robinson’s work in PDF form. This is the first of five websites we are redesigning for the Robinson Archive family of companies. Be on the lookout in a few months for the next launch: robinsoneditions.com.
